I am Sorry!

“I am sorry.” Three simple and powerful words. As simple as they are, they are usually shunned and suppressed. They are not easily spoken. Yet, these words can help the healing to begin; repair what has been broken, while creating the power for both sides. One side of power goes to the giver who becomes strengthened and empowered in sincerely saying the words. The other side of power to the listener for hearing the words, receiving and processing the words, to move forward with resolve.

When we have wronged someone, why not say the words? We would rather simmer in self righteousness, being sincerely wrong, rather than “man up” and say three words? We are being held hostage by three words? Weak!

I am sorry!

It takes courage, self power and a spirit of freedom to say we are sorry. Do we lack backbone and chutzpah?

Perhaps religion has molded us to be self righteous; therefore, the words are actually a sin to say? Is that the twisted response of being a part of religion? Are we intentionally twisting the teaching to avoid abiding by the “word” we believe is spoken by God, or a higher power, just to be self righteous? Are we afraid of being judged?
Are we intentionally ignorant, where we are sincerely wrong?

There is another way we avoid giving an apology. Let’s call it being in a state of self delusion. We are suppressing the fact we are wrong, which is why we have no problem in making excuses, or placing the blame on someone for our wrong doing. So, we walk around saying, we are not wrong.

We then become our own contradiction.

Have you ever had someone to say, “I am sorry, if I have done you wrong?” They know, but their pride is standing in the way. Let’s call this “repenting while lying.” Here is an interesting video clip from the show “Today” featuring Lauren Bloom, the author of, The Art of Apology: http://www.today.com/id/32845175/site/todayshow/ns/today-relationships/t/why-it-so-hard-say-im-sorry/. This clip shows various couples admitting they have a hard time saying, “I am sorry.” It emphasizes the problem with an apology when the word, “if” is involved. This is unacceptable people!

When we refuse to say and do what needs to be said and done, it is impossible to be genuine and authentic, because we are not in total alignment with heart, soul, consciousness and spirit.

We also engage a number of powerful forces, to work counterproductively against us, when we intentionally wrong someone and refuse to say the words.

We call on the cosmic justice system to set the powers in motion to execute the “reap what you sow” action. We create a state of dichotomy for ourselves, causing internal division, knowing our conscience is pricking the heart and mind, but we refuse to let it call us to action. We are creating a life of fraud, hypocrisy and lies. We also create discomfort for ourselves, because we will not set the record straight. We create internal levels of vulnerability to emotions of bitterness, regret and possible physical illness.

We are creating levels of destruction in our relationships. We cannot be trusted to be objective, because we are not logically analyzing to know when we have done our partner wrong. We cannot be viewed as responsible and taking ownership when we do not own up and say we are wrong. We do not love our partner to our fullest ability, especially when we knowingly hurt them, but will not execute the right action to correct the wrong. We are not giving our very best, because we are too stubborn in being wrong when we can easily make it right.

An apology is a necessity. Give it willingly and sincerely, or be willing to face a fate of adversity.

I am sorry!

The Life of Love

Love is defined as, “a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.” If we define the word profound, it means, “penetrating or entering deeply into subjects of thought or knowledge; having deep insight or understanding: a profound thinker.” If we look up the word penetrating, it means, “able or to penetrate; piercing; sharp: a penetrating shriek; a penetrating glance.”– http://www.thefreedictionary.com/love

The words that support love are deep and powerful. Profoundly, tender, passionate, penetrating, and piercing all express a feeling beyond the normalcy. These words are all indicators of love’s power. If we look at a mother’s love, one of love’s higher echelons, we know situations where a mother has given her life for her child. So, we have some idea, have experienced or witnessed the power of love.

The words, “I love you” say more than you can ever intellectually say.

When you say the words you feel a deep, penetrating, sharp feeling that is so profound. It feels as if you are pulling it from your core. Your display of this profound affection is giving, unlimited and removed from your boundaries, without fail, providing protection, with a sacrificial element, as a mother has by giving her life, so that her child can have life.

We may not be able to intellectualize it, but we can indeed measure it.

Have you ever had an exhausting day, and your partner needs to talk. You would prefer some silent time, but the needs of your partner holds higher priority. Like a mother who sacrificed her life so her child can live, you are willing to sacrifice your time, so your partner can heal from the horrible day they had.

Have you ever been in an argument, and felt the love even in the heat of the moment? Love will react by lovingly listening to the position of your partner. In the tenderness of love, you make your points, and all of you—your partner, you, and love work it through. Love understands that even an argument, once resolved, creates an opportunity to know more and grow more.

Love is not bound by the useless emotion of fear. It does not hold back. It does not know how. Love has nothing to fear. Only death can be the finale in a human life. Love does not die. To risk loving for love, only strengthens and regenerates for another. Love is not bound by the useless emotion of pride. There is no reason to hide what it feels inside.

Love has a response system to rejection. It will let you go in the name of love. It will remain sustained in the heart, respectably, for that place and time. But it lovingly moves on, because it cannot be stifled or contained. It must grow. Its growth produces the continual profoundness and height, because love is actually larger than life.

It does not take candy, flowers, minks or furs; these are only things. They can never replace the depth that can only be felt from heart to heart. If you must celebrate the day, Feb 14, (love should be everyday) let it be the beginning of love so true…..♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

In the still of the night, and while you and I are having a night cap, let go and let Love. Speak to me, feel me, touch, kiss, lick, suck, rub and squeeze me without control. Let love let you go. Taking you and me around the earth and through the sea, whatever you feel to do, just feel the love between you and me. Allow it to flow through you. Let it rock you, while you rock me in the deep moments of two. Defying the laws of science where two objects (me and you) are desperately, yes, so desperately, trying to occupy the same space at the same time. Baby do not think, just do. Do me, and I do you. No holds barred, no yesterday, and no tomorrow. It is just you and me in this hour. As we move and grind in love’s trance, let’s let the love take us, me and you, yes, oh yes, ….slowly, squeeze me, lovingly, strongly,…..tenderly……passionately……me gripping you, holding on to you, intimately ravaging you…..until you bring me, and I bring you to the world of total ecstasy. And when we are done, sweating and breathing deeply as one. We seal the act by saying the most powerful words in the world, “Baby, I do love you!”

Welcome to the Life of Love!
